We offer a premium delivery service and make every effort to ensure your gift arrives on the preferred delivery date or in the shortest possible timeframe. We provide delivery information so that you can best plan for your gift delivery. However we know that there is a lot of information to take in! **Picnic hampers and certain very larger hampers (as marked on the product page), traveling interstate, will travel by road via the ‘Express’ service and expected delivery times can vary from 1 – 14 business days. Costs will also vary – please use the calculator on our website. For these deliveries we do not have the option to leave at a Post Office. They need to be left safely (if not containing alcohol or if someone will be home) or delivered to a business premises. If no-one is home at time of delivery – redelivery charges will apply for these items.
We can send flowers anywhere in Australia – however if outside of Zone 1 or Zone 2 they will be sent via our floral network and delivery will cost $20 flat rate across Australia.
Limited Service Areas
Standard delivery is anywhere from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday for businesses and from 7.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday for home addresses. All deliveries are determined via our courier delivery schedules which, very occasionally, may change and as such are expected and not guaranteed. Weekend delivery is NOT available. TIMED deliveries are possible but will incur a premium courier rate, Give us a call to get a quote on timed delivery prices. Timed deliveries may not be achievable. All timed deliveries should be discussed with and agreed by Brizzie Baskets and Blooms prior to sending the gift.
We welcome our customers to choose a preferred delivery date on the calendar at checkout and we will do everything reasonably possible to deliver your gift on the requested date, BUT is not guaranteed. Please provide an email address that will be regularly checked in case we have to contact you in regards delivery or your gift.
We cannot deliver on public holidays as the courier services do not operate and our office is also closed. For more information on Public Holidays in Australia please visit this Australian Tourism webpage. All orders that come in on the weekend or a public holiday will be processed on the first day back in the office for the next available delivery. Our office is also closed for the two week period after Christmas day as advertised on the home page of our website during this period.
We recommend sending to an address where you know someone will be home at the preferred time of delivery or to a business address. Deliveries to hospital patients are also generally straight forward. In most cases, if no-one is home at the time of delivery, your gift will be left in a safe cool place.
If we are given a wrong address we are able to re-deliver your order for an additional delivery charge. If the recipient is not there at the time of delivery, If Authority to Leave has been selected and If the courier is unable to leave the order, we will phone the sender to arrange a new delivery time and an additional delivery fee will apply
If you have chosen not to leave in a safe cool place at checkout, and there is no-one home at the time of delivery, the gift may be returned to us or to a depot and there may be an and additional charge for redelivery.
When a gift is being shipped to a unit address the staff at Brizzie Baskets may call the gift recipient prior to delivery to ensure they will be home at the time of delivery. If the order is marked as ‘Safe to Leave’ we will do so. Very occasionally a courier may not deem a gift safe to leave even if the order is marked as safe to leave, in these instances a calling card will be left and the gift recipient will be required to pick up the gift from a safe depot/our store/ a local post office depending on the delivery area.
Gifts with alcohol are not able to be left unattended and must be signed for by someone over 18 years old. If there is no-one home to receive the gift a calling card will be left and the gift recipient will be required to pick up the gift from a safe depot/our store/ a local post office depending on the delivery area.
We do not deliver to PO Boxes.
We will deliver within regular business hours (before 5pm) and hand to a staff member or reception as requested on the order. TIMED DELIVERIES EXTRA.
